A TV Channel For Those That Go Woof— Launched Today!
I just learned last night that today, August 1, a television channel is being launched that is exclusively for dogs: DOGTV. Yes, you heard that right. The channel will have 24/7 programming to help, according to DOGTV’s website, “stimulate, entertain, relax and habituate dogs with shows that expose them to various movements, sounds, objects, experiences and behavior patterns, all from a dog’s point of view.”
It sounds like an interesting concept, and I would be curious to see how my dogs, Molly and Isabella (who I couldn’t resist including in this post), react to having this channel on during the day when I’m not home. Hopefully, it will be more stimulating than the Puppy Bowl that airs on TLC every year concurrently with the Super Bowl, which they have zero interest in. For information on how to get this channel and more information about its content, check out DOGTV’s website.
In the meantime, I’m happy to share the handmade dog goods I am *digging* today. I’d also be interested to know what you think about this new channel—brilliant or absurd?
