Mirages in the Desert
I visited the desert for the first time a few years ago in connection with business travel in Israel, and I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting much—just a hot, dry and downright uncomfortable afternoon. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The desert had a quiet peacefulness that combined with its vastness and the soft, hazy horizon, made it a truly special place. I’ve posted four of my favorite pictures from the trip on the blog today along with some lovely desert-inspired, handmade goods that capture some of the beauty of the desert.
